DemBiz Welcomes Paul Reagan, Chief of Staff to Governor Terry McAuliffe for Breakfast
Paul J. Reagan serves as the senior aide to the Governor and is responsible for managing the day-to-day responsibilities of the McAuliffe administration, ensuring that operations, staff, and activities are functioning efficiently and effectively.
Reagan has a 30-year record of service in Virginia public affairs. Most recently, he served as Chief of Staff to the United States Senator Jim Webb.
His previous positions include: Communications Director for Governor Mark Warner from 2002 to 2005; Chief of Staff to Congressman Jim Moran (VA) from 1996 to 2001; Press Secretary to Congressman L.F. Payne (VA) from 1995 to 1996; Counsel to the House Science Subcommittee from 1993 to 1995; Press Secretary to Congressman Owen Pickett (VA) from 1987 to 1993; and Legislative Assistant to Congressman Rick Boucher from 1983 to 1987. In 2005, Mr. Reagan was appointed by Governor Mark Warner to a seat on the Virginia State Board for Community Colleges.
Mr. Reagan holds a JD from George Mason University and a BA from the College of William and Mary. A native of Norfolk, Mr. Reagan now resides in Springfield with his wife and two children, Paul F. and Rebecca.
